It's true, bookshop is written with R, I have not discovered anything new. Maybe that's why a bookshelf in the shape of an "R" does not surprise us so much. In fact, any letter could represent a bookstore because what they contain are books, and books contain letters, all the letters. Well, I think I'm going around the bush.
The fact is that the stannation that we see in the image is called (Read, read in English and also with R) has a curious form of R by which the books are distributed, from the "rabito" to the "belly", as the children say to identify them. It is a creation of Sofia Ehrengren and Jenny Ash Fors, two Swedish designers belonging to the Bofink studio.
