Paraffin is a by-product of the colorless and inholoro petrochemical industry that melts easily and is very easy to use. It can be easily dyed with various dyes and also cast other components such as perfumes and essences. We can make candles ourselves, put candles and very simple and original lamps. The materials What we need are:
- Paraffin (to melt later)
- A balloon
- A bowl or large saucepan to melt the paraffin
- Metal spout
The first thing we should do is fill the water balloon and tie it up. Apart from this we must have the paraffin conveniently melted in a bowl and then we introduce the balloon into the saucepan with the melted paraffin slowly. We take it out and let it dry a little. Then we repeat the action until we achieve the proper thickness.
Once the thickness is desired we make a new layer very slow and smooth so that the surface is perfect. Then place the balloon on a smooth surface, for example a plate, and let it dry completely.
Once it is completely dry, we puncture the balloon in a container where we will not stain anything. Finally, to make the upper edge smooth and symmetrical, light the ceramic glass over a low heat and place a piece of silver paper on top. We take the candle and pass the edge on the hot surface to flatten it. We performed it for a few seconds and that's it.
We can use colorless paraffin or dye it with the appropriate dyes so that it has another color. Once finished we can also decorate the exterior as we prefer.
